In the market for S2000!
im currently in the market for a used S2000. im not sure what i should be looking for as far as mileage and normal ware and tare on the car. i have come across an average of about 58000-68000 miles on 01-02 cars. i test drove an 02' and have to say that i love it, but it still had pretty high miles on it. around 68,000 and was about $16,800.
i would just like to know if anyone could point me in the right direction. should i hold out for a little and try for an 04'? i know these cars are reliable, so should i not worry to much about the high miles? any input will help! thanx!!

Not everyone, but most people buy these as part-time cars and they don't get a lot of miles on them. It's not uncommon to find a car that has only 5,000 annual miles. So if you're looking at a 5 year old car, it would only have 25K.
Unlike American iron, these cars hold their value, so don't expect to find one real cheap. Obviously, the older the car, or the more miles it has, the lower the price should be. But if it's been someone's garage kept pride and joy it will be more money but still a better deal than a newer one that's been beat to death. A car that has 50 or 60k miles is not reason for concern. Like all Hondas, these things are built to go the distance.
