For a classic i would say a Ford Mustang GT500 Eleanor and for a new car the Porsche GT3, those are my two favorite, but out of the question right now

Tesla Roadster, Audi R8, or Lotus Elise/Exige

Those are distant seconds though due to the vastly different cost considerations (out of pocket for tesla & r8, maintenance costs definitely for the r8 and lotii, and the tesla, well, it remains to be seen)... I just bought my first s2000 today... and I drove it for 8 hours... if there was room, I would move in permanently. I'm so head over heals in love, ... no, it's more than that... it's an infatuation with the feeling at 7,500 RPM. On another note, man I need to learn how to heal-toe... Topenga Canyon in Malibu was eating me alive without it...

There are lots better roads than Topanga. Try Stunt Road or Mullholland to Encenitas Canyon to Malibu. Less traffic and purdyer.

I don't think I could get rid of the S2K, but add one of these to the stables maybe:
