anyone have clutch issues?

Hi Everyone,
Well, i've had my S2000 for almost 2 years and jsut the past weekend I busted my clutch. Anyone else had this problem or is it just me? Any information would help me because I love this car but I'm really thinking about going to an Infiniti G35 and selling my car to a private party. Anyone want to buy a Silver S2000 with a hard top custom speakers, (1) 10" sub with a 800 watt amp and a rockford phosgate capacitor, new tires, and a new 1500.00 CLUTCH!!!!!!

Let me know if any of you guys have had this problem too.

The OEM clutch is the weakpoint in and S2k's drivetrain. (Other than the rear diff, that is.) I had to replace mine as soon as I got it. It's just part of if. I wouldn't go trying to get rid of such a nice car because of a minor set back such as this. Good luck.

I had to change out my clutch around 20k. I put in an Exedy Hyper clutch kit, and it doesn't slip at all.

Yeah, if you're going to change out the clutch, don't go OEM, definitely upgrade:
