Tires

So I finally need to replace my tires. I was pleased with the Bridgestone Potenza S-02's but want to try something different/possibly better. I'm currently leaning towards 3 different tires:

Toyo Proxes T1-S
Falken Azensis ST-115
Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position

If anybody could give me some insight to the performance of any of these tires I would greatly appreciate it... as of right now I think the best tires I can buy for a daily driven, weekend road racer is the Toyo Proxes T1-S. I would love for someone to confirm my interest or talk me into a different set. Thanks everyone.

tires

I just put on the S03's on some 18" wheels. Not as grippy as the SO2's, but from the info I gathered slightly better than the Toyos. I wouldnt even consider the Faulkens.

What type of driving do you do? Are you looking for longer lasting or more performance?

Nothing beats the stock SO2's in traction unless you go street legal drags. I would have bought SO2's again, but they didnt have the right size.

SO2's are the way to go unless you can't find them. They wear like an eraser on the back of a pencil though.

I now have S03s and they are distinctly less sticky than the S02. Keep in mind that the OEM S02 in the rear is sized 225 but has the cross section of a 245 tire (S03 or non-OEM S02). You can get OEM S02 through tirerack despite what the local dealers tell you. More info here:http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/showth...threadid=48572
