Day time running lights?

Having my 06 S2K shipped in January, so I haven't seen it in person yet. I think the 2006 is the first year for daytime running lights in the USA? I hope so, as it is a requirement in Canada.
Cheers, Greg

Quart halogen lamps will not tolerate running at less than full power or their life will be significantly shorter. The Halogen cycle requires full power to keep the filament from eroding.

I would install another normal incandescent bulb.

My 2007 has them but not sure about 2006.
I think they are borderline for acceptance in Canada.
But good enough to pass the vehicle inspection so you can get your plates, along with a safety certificate of course.

To me they look pretty hollow illumination

My 06 has day time running lights. I was having the car inspected at Can. Tire and the guy told me it didn't have DT lights. He had a quote for the lights to be fixed but I insisted that it did. Guess what, they don't work with the E brake on.
