Considering It :D
So Im debating whether or not to buy an S2000
I hear the drive is amazing etc. Car looks fun, sporty, convertible too One thing that bothers me is that it's a 4 seater and I drive my friends often around so that could be a problem. Also The new 2008 comes with a CR Edition, should I consider that? |

Think you mean 2 seater. That's not a problem. You'll want to spend a lot of time when you first get it just driving around and listening to the engine and getting used to a car that has so much potential. Your friends will just treat you like you just got a new girlfriend (which you did).

Yup. That could be a problem.
Let us know what you decide. Java

The drive is pretty amazing. But don't take our word for it, put your butt behind the wheel and let it speak for itself.
After that's done, tell your friends they'll have to call shotgun and the rest can ride the bus. |

Enjoy the car. Let you friends stand on the side of the road and be envious.

Take it for a test drive. You'll be hooked. Worked for me.

will do
now the CR.. it's like a couple thousand more? it looks purtier and is more track tuned. i was gonna put a body kit etc. on mine if a get a regular but i figured maybe the CR would be better because it does have a small body kit and it is probably better tuned than i could tune a car im a complete NOOB when it comes to like tuning, engine specs etc. |

How much money do you have to spend on the car for aftermarket parts? Do you have a budget for it?
I know I didn't which is why I traded in my Civic for something that I would be happy with out of the box. I still tinker with things like attaching an iPod to the stereo, but this is no where near the amount of money you can spend on Stewie on go-fast parts. Either way, whether you mod it or not, start with the best you can afford. Just my 2cents |

you should get a 350z. They have more tq the engine feels smoother. More interior. They sell body kits for them. Go for the z.

If you need a four seat car, buy something else. If not, this car can be a lot of fun.

Not true. At the S2000 Homecoming in September, it was being said that the CR was 3 seconds per lap faster on a racetrack than a stocker.
