Do S2K Owners Catch A Lot Of Flack???

Just curious, I'm a normal guy but in my Mustang I am always being accused of being an uneducated punk or what have you, although the older crowds seem to love it. I was just wondering if you guys catch any flack for drive a 2 seater convertible? I'm just trying to think of everything before I get one lol.

I haven't caught any flack yet. I guess the only thing I run across is people wanting to race me if they catch me at a stoplight. Overall, the s2000 (going by the members of this forum) seems to have a following spread across a wide age bracket. I have got more thumbs up in this car from teenagers, to 65 year olds, and fathers in minivans than any other car I have ever owned. So, basically I would say you just can't go wrong with an S2K.

I've never had someone want to race but I've got plenty of thumbs up and whatnot. I was stopped at a light once and there was a car full of teenagers had the green, a bunch of them waved and yelled out "nice car" and "badass!" as they crept through the light

Yessir i agree, all my buddys told me oh ure gonna hate a 2 seater, Drop tops suck in the cold, Premium gas bro, etc......... hey but none of them have that s2000 grin on their face lol. Now all of them always want to use my car when they have a date

I get "nice car" about once a month, and have for years, and still love it! I never loved a car before, it was always major like which slowly evaporated as the car aged. This one is still a car I love and I've never heard any grief about it!

You should get an s2k man...i was driving down the street in orlando with my 04 yellow stewie and a carbon hood , gas tank lid and front lip...my point its granpa in a Lexus is350 he was like DAAAAAMMM nIcE Car.... a white folk

i recommend s2k for live...i work at a dealer so i get to drive every car every brand...until i drove an s2k then i fell in love with it and got me 1 within 1 week or so...bump for s2ks

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!! After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.
