Without actually inspecting the car I doubt whether anybody can tell you if the car has problems or not.

Well if the person who had it last fucked with the engine by themselves, and didn't have someone professionally do it, I doubt the beautiful car will last long, because alot of people are too dumb to notice if they did it right or not! I suggest you get a new S2000 and have a pro add stuff to the engine so you have your car be the best it can be!!

Too many miles IMO.

Also, that Comptech bracket looks like the older designed that isn't damped. Some of those have cracked (one actually cracked the block). Although, Comptech was cool enough to fix/pay for the damage (yep, new block). The pipe to the manifold is the older style too that won't clear the Comptech strut brace.

If you're going to go used on an S (I'd be hesitant in general, this is not a Corolla), try to find one that was a weekend driver (say 5,000 miles/year).

Be wary. If I had a blown S2k, I certainly wouldn't be selling it. It'd be best to start with a stock or near-stock vehicle that way you know its not been raped on. Sadly, I've no experience with the MR-S so I'm no help to you there. Good luck either way.

Rule of thumb when buying a car. NEVER buy the first year model of anycar, Unless you can buy another one. First year model usually or always has some kind of problem(s) and the 00's S2 does. Also ask the seller at what milages was the Charger istalled.
