Short Ram Air???

I just purchased the K&N Short Ram air kit. Anyone know about it? Didn't want to worry about rain, but wanted sound and any benefits intake would make.

well..from what i know..short ram is a waste of money..all you get from that is awsome sound litto proformace..barely...in the other hand..cai intake helps gain hp and also provide a great sound..but who cares..it's not liek it'll help the s2000..it's already at it's full potential power =\..adding intake wont be any different..only the sound =D.....

CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG!!

I haven't heard anyone get any power from a short ram in this car. It may even lose power. I got an AEM cai, it sounds really good but I never felt any power gain on the butt dyno. You can expect around 10-15hp with intake/headers/exhaust. Alot of money and not much power.

The short ram has been proven to loose power. It pulls in hotter air than the OEM box does.

the only reason i would get a ram air intake is not having to worry about water.
