S2000 booklet needed!
Hi there.
At the end of the week I will be the owner of a Honda S2000 model year 2000 with 35000km. What am looking for in the internet is the booklet/manual of the S2000. Since the car is imported from Germany the booklet/manual is in German language and I cant read it. Does anyone have any links to download this manual in English language? And one more thing. I noticed that the S2000 has EPS which at first I thought it was something like anti-spin but the dealer told me it is for "high speed rear control while turning the car". Please explain to me. |

Electronic Power assisted Steering.
Think of power steering where it is extremely easy to turn the front wheels of the car with the steering wheel (ie side to side) whilst stationary. The problem with some of these systems is that you lose the steering "feel" or feedback when travelling at higher speeds compared to a non-power steering system. To compensate, Honda has Electronic Power assisted Steering. This uses software that varies the degree of power assistance according to speed. Low speed = lots of power to make wheel turn easier (generally don't need to much feedback at low speeds) High speed = little power assistance, providing more direct driver input. |

You should be able to order a manual from your local Honda dealer in Greece. If not, try www.hardtopguy.com (Ganley Honda) who sells all sorts of OEM Honda parts on the internet at great prices.
