new to cali.......and a s2k

im new to cali and want to modify my new s2k, but what are the rules and regulation here as of modifying.???. i know we had non for minnesota, well not that I know..

I hope you like to read, because Cali has the most and most rediculous laws on modifying cars... Good luck with that...

Welcome to the site and good luck with the mods. I waited until I left CA before I went with the serious (fun) mods. You can go with a cat back exhaust and a CARB approved CAI and that's about it unless you go with a SC. There isn't a turbo allowed in CA.

Any modification has to be CARB approved. It WILL be checked at smog check time.

Hey Dude,just save ALL your stock parts for smog.Then check out the best add on for HP.Test Only really sucks LOL!

"Whatever you do, where ever you go, enjoy the drive." I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!! After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.
