GP White or Spa Yellow

It's time guys. Yes, the day has come where I get to join the rest of you lucky bastards in owning my very own S2000.

The only decision that remains is choosing the color, which has proved to be much more difficult than I could have ever imagined.

My choices have been narrowed down to a GP White with Tan Leather or a Spa Yellow.

Ultimately, the decision will be mine, but it can't hurt to put it out there and ask all of you which you like and why.

Thanks,
Frank

dude i have to say the yellow always looks hot... i saw one today and i was like" sweet ride and when it went past i got a closer look i saw it was an 01 that was all kinds a dirty and dinged up...lol moral of the the story is yellow always exotic and cool

But the white with tan interior is by far my favorite combo...

Sorry that probably didn't help much but they all look so good...

It's a proven fact that spa yellow is the fastest color.

Black, red, and white are the only acceptable colors!

White with tan indicates your looking used or did they bring it back in 08? That is rather unique.

My first choice was yellow but I got used to it? It really grabs ya at first, then there's the cop thing... I really ended up likeing white with the black and red interior, my favorite. Hard to find. Seems dealers all get red for the mid life crisis sports car buyers. Easiest to sell.

I really didn't want red, it's everywhere, but the dealer made me a sweet deal so I signed on the line. Never liked red cars, another one with the cop thing, then there's the red car accident thing as well. Anyway it grew on me and I actually like the red now and am glad I got it. It will probably be easier to sell some day. BUT I still like the white with red and black interior!

Thinking about trading for an 08 white...

you can't see much of what color it is once you're behind the wheel where you belong.........Good luck with the purchase.

White and yellow are both good choices, considering how small stewie is compared to most of what else is one the road........it pays to be visible, when you're in a position to get run over top of.

Geez Jagg... Had to go and make it a life or death issue didn't you. LoL! I totally agree with what you say. Simply owning an S is exciting, but I'm not going to deny the fact that now that I'm in a position to make a decision the aesthetic factor came in to play out of left field. I'm leaning towards the white, simply because the Tan and Black Int is so damn classy, but the yellow happens to have less miles and is cheaper. DOH!

What to do, what to do...

Old Farmer says screw the color, and concentrate on spending your money wisely. This is the view of most concern once you've got your butt in the seat.

Don't see too many white ones (see photo). Rumor has it that they never built them intentionally, just forgot to paint them. Never saw one with a tan interior, EXCELLENT combination!

Can't go wrong with any of em. I've got Rio Yellow. Never thought I'd own a yellow car, but the S is one of those cars that can "get away with it".

I worried that I'd get tired of it soon, but it's really grown on me... as well as most of the buddies who were bustin my chops about it.

Now, all the other colors seem bland by comparison.

Yah DJ nice pic! I see some non S color repaints in there. Wonder why no one did that British Racing Green color? The S would good flyin those colors!

Hate to say it, they are a nice colors, but the silver and gray tend to be invisible. Good thing if ya got a heavy foot I guess!

I'm not a Chrysler fan......but check out the ram emblem on the beak of this relic. It's a beauty, regardless of the fact that there's no Ford powerplant underhood.......Best Regards, Jagg

I personaly dislike white. i love the yellow hence the reason mine is yellow. there is nothing like the yellow with the pearl in the paint. it looks amazing in the sun.
