HEY i need help from all you guys that have s2000s plz

hey everyone i live in hawaii and plan on buying a s2000 in a real short time ... about a couple days . i wanted to know ur opinions and advice on what color i should get. I wanted a black one or a white one but the dealer said if i get a black one then it would get alot of chips in the front hood area and would be very visible and hard to maintain. he also said something similar about the white color. The dealer said the silver color would be good because itll last long and easy to take care of. please let me know your opinions and advice.

I bought a black and yes you see the chips verry good they are like white dots on the car. You also see swirlmarks. And a black car is verry hard to keep clean. Thirty minutes after you cleaned the car you already see dust on the hood without even driving it.
So I had my car repainted to silverstone metalic. Verry easy to keep clean and you see every detail of the car. I even think the car looks more agressive in the silver colour and most people I know say they like the car more now in the silver colour .
The only downside is when I see another S most of the times they are also in the silverstone colour. But then again you don't see many S2k around here .
So if you want an easy to maintain colour go for silverstone. If you like cleaning a car buy a black or a white.Or if you want a rare colour go for the monte carlo bleu (I didn't meet anyone with this colour yet).

I agree, my S2k is the Silverstone and the car looks great in that color. I had a searies of black cars before this one and this color is by far easier to maintain. The blue looks good but I thought the int. in the blue was a little much.

There's a lot of S owners that love the black. I, too, love black, but hate how hard it is to keep clean. Black was my first choice though. I've had 2 white Integras and thought they were fairly easy to keep clean. Plus, whit is the rarest of S colors. My Spa shows dirt real easy as well. Silver is kind of the lazy person's color sice it doesn't show dirt as much.

s2 color

I have a silverstone and I love it. Its super easy to clean and doesn't get dirty easily. Between white and black I'd go white because then all you gotta do is throw on a Carbon Fiber hood and you have one AWSOME looking car.

Black is definitely harder to maintain and shows every flaw in vibrant living color. White is a lot more forgiving, and I've had 4 black cars and 2 white ones (most recent car purchase was white) to learn from!

Additionally, white is Honda's racing team color. I don't know how important that is to you, but watching the white BAR Hondas race around the track makes me proud! My current S is red and I had intended to replace it with a white/red until they changed the interior colors.

Of course, loving my red S as I do and having had it nearly 4 years, I highly recommend red. It hides a LOT! Good luck regardless of what color you choose!
