Its cool, but the engine reflects the car. If you want a 2JZ get a supra.

I love supras and my S2k. But to tell you the truth i love supras just for the engine. So for me its the best of both worlds. I know alot of people say well it weights alot more and messes up how it handles. But who can prove that? Really, whats the front axle weight and rear axle weight compaired to stock? I wouldnt be suprised if it keeps the ratio almost the same.

Dunno bobby, that Supra mill'z a considerably more massive hunk'a weight than Stewie'z n' then you've godda consider that on the translation end'uv'itt it's carryin' what? A Getrag(Sp???), n' that sure'z hell ain't no feather-weight either.
'Can't but assume whut the front n' rear'z weighin' in at, but it's godda be a fire-breathin' monster n' definitely not the svelte n' agile Stewie that we know n' love anymore.
I want some real bottom-end'z much'z the next guy, but I don't wanna take away from whut we've already got ta gedditt, y'know?
But it does have all the ear-marks'uv'a modern-day, big-block Cobra, doesn't it?
'Sure wouldn't mind seein' it strut it's stuff on a roadcourse . . in some @*#&in' daylight.

SURE!

It's a picture of a Chevy V8 (known as an LS2) that someone is installing in an "S". This motor is used most commonly in Corvettes and GTO's since 2005. It's all aluminum, about 400 hp and can easily be modified to over 500 hp.

Red posted the pic a few days ago and I've become obsessed with it. I WANT ONE!!

uhhhhhhh......this video sucked.
I'm goin' to watch some Hank.......he might not be as fast, but at least there's a turn or two or three in the road.

Now back to stuffing the LS6 in a stewie.........

If you're gonna go whorin' up a perfectly good sportscar, and spend a ton of money doing it... then you put some real engine underhood.

Dunno Jagg . . . this ol' fan'a Henry'z work'z godda admit that that particular mill, bowtie aside, surely izz a "real engine".
But I can't help lookin' at that flick n' feelin' that that looks like it's PhotoShopped into that bay, nicely done mind'ja, but not actually, physically there. 'Engine seems jus' a li'l too small.
But, 'z'we all know, I been fooled by this stuff before.

Java I have to agree with you the V8 looks to small in the bay. That engine fills up a vette which has a bigger engine compartment than a Stewie. That engine would add a lot of weight to the front end and throw the handling way off not to mention ripping the rear end to pieces. You would probably need to replace the whole drive train. BTW to install a newer engine is next to impossible because of the integration of the electronics into the chassis of the car, you have to go with an older v8 1990's.

Hartley V-8 ... The only engine I would swap

No, if you are going to swap "Stewie's" engine it has to be one that is in the "spirit" of Honda's intention. This is the one I would put in, it is said it weighs almost 20 lbs less than the S2000 engine and as you can see from the specs below is a perfect swap that would not destroy the cars handling. Although you would need to beef up the entire drive train to handle that extra torque. Cost would be high but .... this would be a giant killer of a sleeper!

SPECIFICATIONS:

75 degree odd fire V8
2.8 LITER, 170 cu. in. displacement
84mm Bore X 63mm Stroke
4 cams, 32 valves via internal silent chain
530mm wide x 485mm long x 530mm high
400HP @ 10,000 rpm with stock street cams
245 ft-lbs torque @ 7500 rpm
200 lbs engine weight
Billet nitrided steel 180 degree crank
4340 Carrillo H-beam rods
Billet 6061-T6 aluminum crankcase
Dry sump oil system with 4 stage pump
7.25" or 5.5" Twin disc clutch
DTA S80 full sequential ECU
Unique cylinder offset and cam drive arrangement yields a compact design- Patented

Wouldn't have to do too much beefin up, only 245 ft-lbs torque.

Just for clarification...........I was hinting at the toyota engine bein' lame, and the Chevy was the real powerplant......

Photoshopped? It's hard to tell......at a minimum, it's a work in progress.
Maybe it's a dupe......tis good to dream though.

Makes me wonder what a combined Stewie engine would do?

Settles that pretty solidly.
(So where'd they get the miniature LS2? Kiddin'! Only kiddin'.)
So, had me an ol' 4 bolt-main 350 in my Awful-Healey. If I start ta pay attention to the progress made with this, it's only fer reference'z'all.
