I think I may've solved the mystery. Everybody'z misinterpretin' the flick.
It's not a beemer. It's a flesh-eatin' Zundapp.

I think I have a way to find out if this is real or not / what really happened. I will post again tomorrow.

Judging by the size of the hole the deer weight was around 85 to 95 lbs. I think the photos are real that size dear would fit and there isn't much to block its route into the bay. Objects take the path of least Resistance and if the deer was head on with the car that would be it oh and the car would have to be doin well over a 100 miles per hour. JMO.

looks real to me. if it can happen, it will happen. The perfect speed, angle, and height of impact couple have all lined up, and I know the grilles on bmw's break very easily (was with my friend when he barely tapped it against a bumper and lost the grille instantly)
A couple years ago I was driving home from work late at night, and I got hit by a deer!!! No light on the road at all except my headlights and it barely appeared out of the corner of my eye and it just ran head on into the side of my truck. No damage to my truck, and considering the next morning I couldn't find remains or blood anywhere, I'm guessing it got back up and went on its way |

Oh Dear! I mean, Oh Deer! I don't know how good that venison is gonna be. You know how meat gets when it falls through the grill(e).
Sometimes I crack myself up.

Years ago, during my sport bike days, I clipped a doe ~150lbs on a Yamaha RZ-350 at night. Just a grazing swipe along the side at 50mph...took around 100 yards to recover control of the bike (and my bowels).I think I would've looked like the parts inside the Bimmer! needless to say, I don't ride anymore! The s2k is the closest to a 4 wheel bike yet!
Rule #1: don't look at the deer, look for the second one crossing behind it! Voice of experience! |

Nope.
'Att'z'n important rule, but it's relegated to the number two slot Ag. Rule number one on notin' critter presence is max deceleration to give yerself maybe'z much'z'a couple'a secondz more to determine the best path . . 'r, 't'least the one whut'z gonna result in'a least amount'a damage. But we're in agreement: it ain't the one yuh see whut'z gonna ge'cha. Java
