gOT ME A 01 s2000!!!..A lil suggestion/advice pls!!
I recently traded my Base Rsx for an S2000,and man i was taken away by this car, everyday i could not wait to just drive this car, normally if some of my family members or friends ask me for a ride, i decline for the most part
1.Everytime i step on the gas then let go of it,it sounds like there is a grounding noise???..Ive had a high revving engine like the b16a Si before but it does not sound like this(but then again the b16a cannot go to 9k rpm and does not have 120hp/l)..is this normal? 2.what exhaust gives the best note? i want something throathy not obnoxiously loud or something that does not sound like a stock either,i dont really care for HP gains, because it seems like every magazine that dynoes an exhaust only gains 1-4 hp, 3. would you recommend switching to a single tip muffler? does it lose HP/TQ?.. 4.which springs gives a nice drop but does not compromise the cars handling? thanks for anyone throwing they;re knowledge and i really appreciate it!! |

3. the single exhaust gains around 7-8hp and is lighter than stock, but they are loud
4. I heard that espiler springs give a nice drop of 1.3inch and are a little stiffer than stock here is a link to a groupbuyhttp://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=232129 |

Single louder than dual
Ti louder than stainless Single is the way to go for all out performance gains, even if you don't gain hp (which you won't), because of the weight savings. I swear the stock exhaust had to weigh at least 60 lb! For suspension, I recommend the Tein flex setup. |
