04 s2000 or evo 8 MR???

This thread isn't quite about s2000..but i was just wondering what car should i get??

I'm 19 and getting a car soon but can't decide on whether to get an s2000 or an evo 8 MR?? they both look great. MOst of u guys would probalby say s2000 since this forum is ALLLLL about s2000. I want you guys opinion that had experience w/ these cars.

i've had drove the s2000 already..and it was GREAT. Mitsubishi down where i'm from wont carry EVOs no more, until the evo MR releases.

Im sure everyone here will tell u to get the s2(and that ain't a prob). But dun just neglect the evo8 so easily, u shud at least test drive it or sumthing then compare the two.

Just test drive both and buy the one you liked the most. Funnily enough, I love S2000s but the EVO is damn pretty too.

well..thanks for the replies..and i guess i'll wait until the EVO MR release and from there..i can make my decision..thanks

so far s2000 is on top..but we'll see..

Simple decision really: Do you want a 2 seat convertible?

If the answer is yes, then your decision is made.

If the answer is no, then the Evo is a good bet. You get 4 seats and a usable trunk too. Faster off the line, especially if modded. Styling isn't my taste, but I guess it works if you want to show the world "hey look at me, my econobox is faster than your $60,000 import sedan"

if it speed you want then the Evo 8 is it. That doesn't mean the S2 is slow though, but if you want a car that unique and differ from most people than the S2 is it. S2 is a pimp car, Evo 8 is speed, look too, but not pimp.

Errr, I think a '76 Eldorado with a cheetah print interior is a pimp car. An S2000 is a track car, a roadster but a pimp car it is not. You can only fit one ho in it besides the driver... not very practical if you're a pimp.
