I need HELP!
I am wondering what experience people have had with their dealers (Honda Dealers), and how they handled any service bulletins. I live in the Dallas area and would love to know contacts of honest people in this business. I am not a huge fan of dealerships, but I am getting that buzzing, creaking, window not going down problems that have all been addressed in bulletins, but I would like to have my guns loaded before entering one of these dealerships. My vehicle is Honda Certified, and you would think that this would be a good thing. Help....

i guess it all denpends on weither u r car's warranty is expired or not, if is expired even u have honda crtified there is nothing they will do, but if is still within then they should fix it for u no matter what. however, honda loves to say things to cover up the problems, so u better watch out.

I've had good luck with Huggins in North Richland Hills. I don't have my s2k (yet), but I had a 96 Accord that blew out a balancer shaft seal and dropped all the oil on the ground. It wasn't in warranty, and there was no official recall, but Huggins towed me, fixed the problem and replaced my timing chain and water pump for less than $200.

Window
Yea dude,
bad deal about the window, but no worries, Honda Dealerships will fix you up right. It does make a diff if it's under warranty though. If it is under warranty, no need for guns, just tell them the problem, and you'll be taken care of. Dealerships do jack you for labor and what not, but if you want a guarantee on Honda Certified and what not, then take it to the dealer, it'll be done right and keep it's certificateion for sure. If it isn't under warranty, well that's too bad. I guess just suck it up, and get it fixed when ever you can afford it and/or make time.... Good luck |
