Factory CD changer, and skipping over bumps in the road
The factory CD changer leaves allot to be desired, even when I run over reflectors in the road there is a skip and pause in the music. Not such a problem in the console CD player. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and more so, a good fix for it!
Thanks in advance for any replies. ~420 racing, smokin' the competition! |

I don't have the CD changer, but it makes sense that it would skip more than the dash unit. The trunk unit is right over the rear axle and will move more up and down with each bump. The dash unit will move considerably less with each bump, as it sits midway between the axles.

thats true only with the old cd changers. newer ones has anti-shock.. so u shouldn't get any skip at all !!
