More HP destroys trans?
Hi, I'm new member here, and I would like to ask you something. If I add more hp to my F20C then I need to buy a new cluch? I think a harder cluch is needed to transmit the power. Then I have to upgrade the differental? I've heard a lot of diff. failures due to engine power after a turbo or NA upgrades.

When you increase the power by a substantial amount it is always good practice to upgrade other components of the car.
An improved clutch eg ceramic/brass button/ or whatever may be required to cope with the extra power. Improving your brakes is also a good idea eg new discs/rotors (eg slotted/cross drilled), better quality brake pads, and possibly even upgrading calipers. You may also have to upgrade things like suspension to help put that extra power to the ground. M@ |

how much HP are you talking? The stock s2k clutch is little more then a civic clutch. An upgrade would be a good idea, either way. As for the rear end, it would be a good idea, but if you drive in a practical manner, you should be fine... not something that needs to be done immediatly...
