Question too many miles?

i'm looking to buy an s2k soon and i found a guy wanting to trade his 2002 for a street bike or just about anything else he says, so is 107,000 miles too much on an '02? and what kind of mileage would i expect to get out of the car if i did get it?

Hmmmm, that is a lot of miles, but it IS a Honda. Before you do anything, take it to a trusted mechanic and get it completely looked over.

Also, was it a young kid that had it? Any mods?

i'm gonna agree with SXY here... a mechanic is a must! there's no such thing as too many miles if the price is right, though! with 100K on an '02, it was clearly a daily driver.

there are quite a few people who have gone well over 100K on stewies, so don't be too wary. if it checks out mechanically, that's all that matters.

I'm not crazy about the header and test pipe...this much work usually means he drove it hard. but honestly, every stewie owner drives the car hard sometimes. at least he put quality equipment in it. this usually means he took good care of the car... i'd still have it checked out by a mechanic though.

I have 123k on my daily driver '01 and take it to the track 3-4 times a year. As long as it is well maintained, it should last.

i've got a gary fischer with new disc brakes! With killa's Mongoose, that should do the trick, right?
