Convertible Boot
Hey EVERYONE...I'm new the the board, and to the website, I just bought my S2000 3 weeks ago, it was used and the previous owner did not include the convertible boot. I'm not sure where to get one, I live in Memphis and we have shops every where for Honda's. I just want to know if any one knows the price, or a round about estimate for one! It is a 2004, and I would need black of course, if that changes anything...
Thank You All, Holly |

Ebay. Should be able to get one for around 100 or less. There's 4 for sale right now.

Convertible Boot
I have one for sale. I was going to sell it on ebay but I'll give you a deal. Name a reasonable price and pay shipping.

Ebay is the way to go
Those things retail for around 800 bucks or so at the dealer near me, I got one off of ebay for 70 bucks, shipping included!

Yep. It's too much of a pain in the ass to put on and take off. Unless you were going to keep your car with the top down for long periods of time (which you shouldn't do), this thing is just dead weight.

That is one reason why I like the 350Z roadster, the open/close roof mechanics...

Agreed. The Boxter's is very elegant too. Clearly Honda was going in a different direction here with the top.. that being light weight and simplicity (after all it is a Honda right?).

Not to Dog my S2000 but I should have bought a 350Z. It has more space inside, the stereo is better and it is more powerful. Oh well, maybe next time.

Errr, if those were your criteria, you should have bought an Escalade. More space, better stereo and more power.
But, what's stopping you from trading for a Z? There are tons of them around, not hard to find. |

What is stopping me is that engine growl when VTEC comes in. Also, my S2000 is silverstone metallic with the red interior which I am pretty fond of. I can't say I have heard the Z pedal to the metal but I dont see it breathing fire like the S2000.
