Does it affect the engine when you drive in the rain?

I heard it messes up the engine when you drive it in the rain too much. Is it true?

well i dunno what u mean by not good to ur engine but there is something not good for sure.
1. For a stock intake its very hard for water to get into u r intake, but the problem comes when u change to one of those AEM etc.. cold air inatke cause those are down to the front of u r bumper where water gets sucked up.

2. Honda its a Jap car, a jap have more wires that are not wrapped with plastics or rubbers or kept in pipes to seperate away from water, unlike Mercedes BM... those germany cars have all thier wires protected against heat/water etc. So, when it the rain gets very hard the water or water vapor gets on to those wires its going to short circut so u r car might start to have stupid electrical problems (even though those germany cars has good protection on their wires BM still has lots elctrical problem during rain).

This is based on my experiecne with those cars that i observed in my house (by opening up the hood and see), but u shouldn't have to worry, I live in Vancouver where rains alot like "ALOT" and so far I don have any problem yet.
