hey
yes with the stuff on the car respond differently, i mean not neccessary u can feel on corners unless u r hardcore drivier. but it does make my car now more rigid/solid b/c with out a hardtop like other coupe the car actually twist alot on bumpy roads, and now the car feels much more solid when i go over those roads and less gigling noise from the car too

So I guess the years of engineering time Honda spent to design the H-frame unibody for this car went to waste?

well in a way yes but u have know that this is a japnese car, the body is often not as good as german because it use less metal and weight less but the engine is defenetely something that is better than german (in general). If we just the look at the engine displacement and horsepower, this car can produce 250HP in 2.0 or 2.2 litter. and in germany cars like mercedes, a CLK 430 which is 4.3 liter can only produce 280hp thats is rediculous. i understand that ppl might say but the torque is much bigger, however jap cars are very light ... so that makes up the loses..

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
this is just my opinion if u don like it don beat me plz

Huh? 2800 lb is very light? The S2000 is no CRX or Elise. Just once, I'd like to see some objective evidence that those blue ano underbody pieces actually do something to lap times on an autoX or road course.

Those MB V8s aren't putting down 120hp/L because they are tuned to peak torque at 2700rpm intentionally. This makes for a very driveable car. Not everyone wants to shift at 7000rpm+ right?

but the thing is its a jap car, u have to understand the price compare to MB and BMW, a car that run 6 sec ... u can't buy a germany car with this price although it is pricy compare to other jap such as Rx-8. the s2000 is not that bad, it would be nice if the hardtop is cheaper. thats wut i think
