Rattle from subs!!

Behind my seats..the plastic "dish" that I suppose protects the cover rattles...how can I solve this..I just got the stereo put in an dhaven't tried much..although if i put some weight on it (as in my arm pressing down) it goes away...any ideas? anyone fixed this problem themself??

Can you keep the weight there when the top goes down?? its an 01 so plastic ...not glass backwindow..please help!!

I have an 01 and the same problem however it doesn't rattle with the top down. I'm trying to find a solution at the moment, i've contemplated a MUZ roofwell mat but can't fork out the cash till tax refund time (i'm not sure if that weighs enough though)

found a solution ...on s2ki.com

the rattle is because there is a crack between the "dish" and behind the seats..if you stick some cloth or foam or whatever in there it solves it!

(not a crack from damage..its just a gap...but if you put somethin between the 2 things..it fixes it!!

actually mine is weird...there is like a gap the whole way around..i tried stuffin rags in there but my bass is so loud it just pushes them out..the stereo guy said take the thing out and and carpet it..anyone tried this??

basically between the dish where the cover sits..and the plastic behind the steats (where the roll bars attach) are rattlin together
