Personally i think the 04/05 models.. More color combinations, Rear glass window, Revised suspension, more finished interior, new head/tail lights and front and rear bar looks pretty neat too.... but at the end of the day be it a 99 model you are still getting an awesome car! thats the way i see it......

Assuming you're talking NA spec, My recommendation is 03. Still has the F20c engine but is the end of the cycle for the AP1 chassis so most of the kinks have been ironed out. I know many people have shown that the F22c is marginally quicker and easier to drive around town thanks to the added torque. But, I think something is missing from the soul of the car without the 9K (I, know 8800rpm) redline. It's been tamed.

If you're talking european or JDM market, well they stuck with the 2.0 in those cars so 03+ is just fine.

personally i think 2.2liter engline is abit easier for me to drive ... i've tried both before i buy but i would say 04+ is better. if u driver other cars before the time for the rpm to pull up is alot shorter than s2k ... so if u r used to that then 04+ will be easier for u drive ... !~

02-03! i have to agree with those who say that the 04-05 is short of a few RPMs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(02-03 with TODA stroker kit = sorry 04-05) Also, these years come with the glass rear window and the stereo gets tweeters.

think of it this way...an S2 is an S2.....either way you go......you're HAPPY to own such a great car!
