My First Car
Hi! I just got my driving licence and im going to buy a car in a week. I really like S2000, but im warrying that it will be hard for me to drive it for the first time, however i do have some experience in driving.
Is it hard to drive S2000? |

No worries, S2K was my first stick and RWD all in one other than driving parents and friends cars. The only thing that worried me was the dealer hyping the you gotta rev it high and hard always (B.S.) It took me maybe a week to get used to the tight gearbox and get the revving down, but now it's second nature. Gotta love vtec

First car...BAD IDEA!!! We're talking about a $35,000 car. Get into an accident with that and see how pissed you'll be. Wait till at least your second car after some experience with driving.

I must say, I am a little jelous. I cant believe that an S2000 would be anyones first car.....Dont get me wrong...I would have loved an S2000 as my 1st car but I am thinking some of you must be very spoiled or have a really good 1st job...I dont want to insult anyone. If you can have an S2000 as your first car I say go for it. My first car was a 1979 Honda Civic CVCC. Its just hard for me to imagine a $35k car being anyones 1st car. I am 35 now and I have had my share of toys (Porsche 944, Mustang GT, C5 Corvette, Boxter, S2000 X 2) but not until I went through many other inexpensive cars did I get a real car. Its great if you have the opportunity to own an S2000 as your first car. I have had many sportscars and the S2000 is my favorite by far. Go for it!

Jus' a thought Vint: With an accompanying comment like "It's not the big that eats the small, it's the fast that eats the slow" . . well, you might jus' wanna drive somethin' a little less twitchy for a while. At least until the testosterone surges wear off.
The fast don't eat the slow. The fast eat themselves while the slow drive around the wreckage. There's old pilots n' there's bold pilots. 'Ain't no old, bold pilots. Be well. |

sure that would be cool vint but make sure you hang around with the right people cause i got my brand new 2005 s2k after about 2 years of driving and the second day somebody backed up and hit me. they paid for it but it was a hassle and wasn't fun so be careful and dont drive it everywhere.
