Yup, it's about the only thing you can do to have more power.
Other minor changes have no real difference and is a waste of money. Especially with the s2000. |

Look I see what you are saying. But I put an APEXi exhaust and map
controller, an AEM cold air intake, and a 10lb nitros bottle and I have a really scary ride. |

Stumpy;
May I respectfully suggest that as a "new owner" you don't yet know what the car, or, you in that car, is/are capable of. Use it for a while. Get practiced in the simple act of goin' through the gears without missin' a shift. Up or down. Gradually improve your drifting skills. Without spendin' anything but your time and gas money (okay, the inevitible ticket n' resulting insurance boost) you might just find that the car is well balanced and more than just another underpowered crate that can only benefit from more horsepower to burn rubber. Driving isn't just mashin' a peddle n' smokin' tires. Some idiots bordering on "vegetable" that I work with can do that. Give it a chance, spend a lot of time at the controls IMPROVING YOUR SKILLS. If you get enough practice and reach a point where, when you look down at yourself in the cockpit, you have a hard time determining where the car ends and you begin . . you ain't gonna wanna change a hair on that car. Just remember to go gradually. Sometimes one "Whoops!" is one "Whoops" too many. Good luck. |
