Just bought a used S2000

I just got a used S2000 here in Southern California for $21,000. It is a 2001 with 29,500 miles on it. It has the extended honda warranty to 100k miles, and 7 years. I bought private party so no sales tax.

The thing is immaculate and I love to drive it, but did I get a good deal on it? It's a 2001, black, with an upgraded sound system.

I have a WRX too and the s2000 is fun to drive AND looks good. I don't know if I'll go back to the rex anymore.

Pricing is difficult. I just bought 1 in FL. The wanted $22,000 for an '00 with 44k on the odometer. I got it for $18,500. Some private parties were selling '00 models with around 30k for $17,000-21,000. I guess it depends on the options and condition.

Well, it sounds like I didn't get ripped off and I'm pretty inline with what others are paying. I've decided to sell the WRX to get some nice stuff for the s2000 since the WRX won't be getting much drive time.

I wanted to drive this thing anywhere for any excuse at all, it's such an awesome car.

I bought a 2001 with 48K and 100K extended warranty, free oil changes for a year, gap insurance and a car care kit and a har and t-shirt for $21,000 even, from Hendrick Honda.

a week later my plastic window ripped, 100% warranty, so I think I got my money's worth

Just bought a silver 2002 in Alpharetta, GA (N. Atlanta) with 37K on it. Paid $21K even for it. Looks brand new inside and out. Seems like the pricing is pretty consistent across the country.
Love this car! Been spending much time with it on the road and in the garage, wife's calling it my girlfriend. She's right on!!!

Travelled 300 miles to pick mine up in Florida. Year: 2001, 60,000 miles and in great shape....Paid 15,950. I'm smiling because this thing is in AMAZING shape.
