WTF? You bought a car and you don't know what year it is?

Do you even know what color it is?

If it has the clear headlights, oval tailpipes, 17" rims......its an '05. If you are looking to save on gas mileage, fuel addatives work well. Clean your injectors every 20k or so. NEVER bring the tank below 1/4 tank. When it gets low, the fuel pump sucks up all the shit from the bottom, which clogs the injectors and hurt MPG as well as performance. Also, just run a gear high in traffic, but down drown the engine. Shift at around 2500 andyou should be good, due to the close ratio of the 6 spd. Also, change the oil regularly for a clean burn. A clean engine is a more efficient engine.

Doesn't that fuel filter do anything?!

fuel additives wrok fine....just dont cheap out. Go to Super Lube and get their fuel system cleaning service, they do a good job at a decent price. As for the fuel filter, it only picks up chunks of stuff. Impurities, such as oxide deposits can slip through. An upgraded fuel filter will pick up more stuff, but will need more frequent cleaning. I have found that as long as the tank is more than 1/4 full, all the deposits / impurities in the fuel keep getting diluted, so when they hit the injector nozzle they are in smaller quantities and often burn off. Also, I have heard that it is actually GOOD for the engine to hit high revs every now and then, as the temperature in the combustion chamber will rise and incinerate many deposits around the injector nozzles.

04 and 05 both had 17" rims, oval exhaust tips etc. (AP2)

However, am going to have to call BS here. Nobody goes and buys a car for 30 large and can't recall what year it is. Possibly a parent or other relative may have bought one.

Umm fuel injection cleaner is NOT neccessary. Well, for sure if you live in the state of California, because for us, it's by law that all car gasoline in Ca are require to have fuel injection cleaner additive in it. I don't know about others states, go check it out, different octane have different amounts, 91octane have 5 times more the additive as of 87octane, so fuel injection cleaner is a waste if you live in CA.

F*ckin b*tch is lying!!!! how can you not know the year of the car that you just bought? unless you're lying and are really bad at it too, lol, that is rediculous, here a tip, ask your dad about the car year and model the next time you want to brag about something that you don't have.
