Wheel and Speed
Hi guys, i was wondering what do ppl do when they got bigger overall wheel? because the overall size is now bigger the speed meter will be incorrect, in this case what does usually ppl do to change it back to the correct speed?

True, larger wheels or oversized tires could make your speedometer read slower than normal. Might be a speeding ticket , but you can get the speedometer recalibrated to compensate for it. Obviously, smaller diameter tires will make the speedometer read faster than normal, bad cuz it increases the mileage readings on your odometer at a faster than normal rate.
Just maintain the same overall tire diameter as before, you can switch to larger wheels with a lower profile tire. |
