why every one wants to change their clutch ? if u change ur cluth it is recommended u change the flywheel as well. but anyway this is my experiece of my S having the clutch changed. 1. easier to miss shift if u r a lazy person(maybe my skill is crappy). 2. u always have to step all the way down or all the way released other wise it will damage u r cluth so the life time is shorten. 3. depending on what cluth system u got, for me, mine was really crazy, its fast but u feel like u got hit by a car from the rear alot of the time. 4. the system it self is expansive and the installation is expansive, however, more $$ but shorter lifetime compare to original. 5. because is not so forgiving on these system u r likely to damage u r engine ... so is not a very good idea for daily drive especially if u go into traffic alot. also because of the way these kind of system work, the car will shake alot more or more imapct ect. u r car will start to get loose and all sorts of noise will be happening. ...ok now the good stuff, first u have made u r tasmission etc. more efficient and more direct, u r car will be in a way faster. 2. u r car wil be abit lighter. 3. now u can do more burnout on the start (but if u don have the other stuff changed such as the diffriencial, then is still useless). 4. when u lauch u r car it is totally differnt b/c no more slipping from the clutch, and this is what i mean by hit by a car from the rear ... @@

wowowox,i'm thinking to buy and fit at the S the following parts:

SPOON Clutch Cover
SPOON Clutch Disc (Metal)
SPOON Flywheel
SPOON Release Bearing

Which is your opinion?is there somebody that has already fitted this parts?
How is the behavior of the car?
Advantages?
Disadvantages?

hey

with this setup you will be similar to what I've experiecned ... however it is strongly recommended that you change the diffrencial because the stock one might be not strong enough.

Hi

I think both spoon and cusco differencial will work fine, but it is actually depending on your driving style, if you change your clutch because you want to luanch your car then you should change the differencial as well. but if you plane to drive normally then maybe you don't have to spend the money. In your spoon if I am not wrong you are talking about the 3 side metal ones rite? not the full face plate one? if so then it will five u the chance to drive somewhat like the stock, but still differnt, cause it increased the force by30% so you will still be having a stronger start every time. I dunno is up to you. maybe u can still use your old differnecial until it breaks down.
