That depends on alot of things: Limits, driving record, age, where you live,etc... I would ask an Ins. agent.
I have a spotless driving record and mine is about $2000/yr (I am also a single male 26) my S2k is listed as a 2nd car. My insurance would be more $$$ if i didn't have my winter car (an old Subaru wagon), funny it is less $$$ to insure 2 cars than 1. |

In addition to the above I would like to add the fact that it was very hard for me to get insured and I have a completely clean driving record, most the companys I talked to said it was policy not to cover single men under 30

s2k insurance
most major insurance have various packages such as:
weekend only coverage, dry days only, or summer only coverages while still covering for comprehensive (against theft or fire, etc...) these would be ideal if you plan to store your s2k during winter. ask your agent. dk-stylefx.com |

Being an insurance agent, it depends on where you live, your age, mariatial status, how many miles you drive weekly and annually, driving record, and year of the car. You might consider asking your insurance carrier for multi-line discounts (having two lines of insurance with the company. Ex. home owners and auto). They can save you some money on high-end sports cars. Even a small disability policy that costs $21.00 a year can save you up to around $100 a year on your auto insurance. I (age 25) personally pay aroud $115.00 a month with a disability policy I added on for $1.75 a month. Without it I would pay $130 a month for my s2000.

Interesting thread,
One of the best things you can do when looking for insurance is to shop around. Shopping around will enable you to be able to compare and contrast all the different offers and companies around. It’s important to know that even though different companies offer the same coverage, the price can vary even buy a few hundred dollars depending on who you look at. Car insurance comparisons are extremely helpful. Finding the right coverage is the first thing you need to think about. You need to assess your needs and pick the best type of coverage that will be most beneficial to your lifestyle and needs. There are certain things dealing with liability coverage’s, collision and uninsured coverage’s as well.

If you are shopping, there are so many variables tha impact the rates, go in with this info and use it to base your comparison on.
Liability limits X Collision deductable Y Comp deductable Z Emer road service, loss of use,med pay,Underinsured/underinsured motorist(in most states the UM/UIM coverage is the same amount as the Liability limits) If you shop with these established values, you will have a better picture of the best deal. Whats equally important is will the cheapest company give you the service you need when you need it. I hope this helps. Good luck.
