rims and tires question

Im gonna buy rims and tires for my 00 s2k.. Im thinking about 18s.. I need to know what the offset would be for front and rear... I plan to go 8" in the front and 9" for the back ... maybe even 9.5" if it fits... I also will be lowering it a little... I need to know what size tires to buy... 225/40 in the front??? 245/35 in the rear??? or 245/40 rear.. I heard you can fit 255/35 rear??? can some one help me with this combo???? thanx and God bless...
