Stereo help

Hey all, just bought a new 2K5 S2 and am looking to add a little boost to the stereo. I'm not looking for a ton of knock, but would like to add some bass without losing my entire trunk. I came to the S2 from an RSX-S, would like a similar sound. Any suggestions?

This is a simple solution

Lucid also has some ideas for an upgraded system as a whole.

What I did.

I put in a 300 Watt 2 Channel Jl Audio Amp($300), an Alpine Head Unit ($179), and 2 Polk Audio Door Speakers ($300). Loud, crisp, clear, plenty of bass. Sounds good with the top down too, so much that I'm always turning it down not to annoy others.

When you change out the factory head unit for an upgrade, do the stereo controls next to the steering wheel still work?

Usually not. Lucidauto also sells a device that will work with certain brands of head units so that your dash controls still function.

You can pay extra for the adapter- for me it was an extra $100. I opted not.
