Weird Noises Below Idle...

Hey All,

I wanna introduce myself and want to thank everyone on this board for welcoming newbies like myself. I hope I will be able to contribute and share my knowledge when possible.

I Just got my s2k a couple of weeks ago and I think there's a problem. When the engine is below idle ((below 1000 rpm) an example would be not giving it enough gas in 1st gear) the engine compartment makes a weird loud cranking sound. This happens everytime the rpm gets below 1000. I'm wondering if this is a normal thing since s2k's make lots of weird noises or there's something terribly wrong with mine. Btw, it's an 00' with roughly 36k miles.

I believe this is normal when you don't give enough gas when in gears and the speed drop close below 5.

You should always keep it above 2000 rpm when cruising and don't change gears up at at least 3000 rpm.
