P.S...I'd very likely own a BMW Z4 (before the big redesign). I know it's a snob's car, but I do like the styling. And you can't go wrong with straight-6s in sports cars....soooo nice!

Allright fellas Im gonna come clean. I might still get banned for what I did but it was just too much fun after those first responses. This forum just seemed dead and boring...it needed a jolt to get some blood pumping in here. It definitely worked. My name is Ryan Hunsberger. Its true i have a leased 2008, but i really only leased it as a tool for being able to finance it over 8 years instead of 5 (thats the only way i could afford it). I have no plans of messing with the odometer. I do not own a glock or any gun, but i really was a marine for 2 years between highschool and college. I would never use the term "punk ass bitches" in actuality. Turbo6, i have absolutely nothing against grand nationals, theyre awesome cars. Jim216 I have no problems with you either or your coolest cars. I dont know what keelhauling is but ill have to look that up. Doesnt sound pleasant. Isu i didnt really think your a racist, just playing with you. This is a good forum, hopefully youll all let me stick around.

370z or Sti. At our autox last weekend a brand new bone stock 370z on stock brigstones was the fastest car out there, I know alot is up to the driver but thats still pretty impressive considering the cars that were out there.

no clue... it is a toss up. i really wanted a G8 GT, but i was hoping for a 6 speed and they only offered them in the GXP which was about twice what i wanted to pay for a car.
i had looked long and hard at a few 6spd LS2 GTOs as well but the 6spds were all private owners, all the dealer cars were autos, which i wasnt looking for. i might also have found a c5 vette in the same price range around then but i figured insurance would be more than the S... so i didnt look too hard. i found a few evos and sti's close to the price range but i hate 4 door cars...

BMW Z3M. That's what I tried to buy before I got the S. BMW wouldn't come down on the price, so I got mad and left. Ordered my S2000 the next day. I thank BMW often for making me mad that day.

No Boxsters, Miatas, or RX-8s huh? Interesting.
Now when I see you guys say R32s, Vipers, Aston Martins, etc....I have to assume youd mean 2nd-hand cars (cause theyre a bit pricier of course). Or could you have afforded them new and bought them instead of the S2000??????? |

If I could find one in good shape, I may have gone with a 3rd generation RX-7. But, then I'd loose the Honda reliability and infinite headroom.
I have to agree with GoMarlins - BMW just aggravated me when I inquired about the Z4. I am so glad I went with the S2000; it's a much more enjoyable car. Raw & visceral, no snob appeal, and probably cheaper to maintain. |

RX-8? Miata? wtf The S runs circles around those cars like mad. |

well java i admit it was an unconventional way of introducing myself to a forum, but id say it did work. and thanks for reminding me, i need to update my "about me" section and take some of the meat-headed-ness out of it. it was all a character base.
hey i wouldnt disregard the RX-8 and miata like that. the S2000 might be a tad quicker than both of them, but on some tracks that advantage might disappear. i still wont call the RX-8 a true sports car cause it has 4 doors and 4 seats. thats a compromise in my opinion. I do respect the Miata for what it is... but the RX-8 is a joke and I dont really care what anyone says about it. Its a ok 4 seater everyday driver but its not a sports car. The RX-7 is a sports car. |
