urethane? or fiberglass?
whats different between those two?
and which type is better for bodykits? |

Urethane is more flexible and is therefore somewhat more durable. However, painting it requires flexing agents in the paint or it will chip when the material bends. Fiberglass is, after all, glass (plus a resin) and glass doesn't like getting folded or bent it just cracks and breaks.

It depends somewhat on the application.
Urethane, as Halo rightly mentioned, would be tough and flexible enough but would probably be harder to repair once it gets scuffed up from driveways and kerbs (front lips etc). Fibreglass, while more brittle, is also more easily repaired. |
