Az, get used to the car before you go makin', or, even thinkin' about, makin' any changes. It's like addin' seasonin' to a meal before you even taste it. You may jus' be changin' somethin' that your perfectly happy with.

You may also like to try a "resonatorectomy" before shelling out lots of money for a new exhaust. Removing the resonator is a pretty quick an inexpensive job for an exhaust shop to do.

There's nothing wrong with the HKS. A lot of owners will testify to that.
But... Just about the best exhaust money can buy* would be the Amuse Titanium Dual R1. Titanium from the cat all the way back to the burnt blue tips. The weight figures are less than Jessica Simpson's IQ. And the sound is sweeter than her voice.
* Sadly... That woud be a LOT of money.

But I may be biased.
( Can't find any pics of mine online. )

If you want some exhaust sound samples... Check here.

The resonator is the canister between the catalytic converter and the mufflers.

This is a Comptech exhaust, but the stock has a resonator in the same location.
