washers have stopped playing?!

hello fello s2000 buddies,

am looking for an ideas for fixing my washer problem. basically the problem is no water is coming out, when i pull the stick back the wipers start but there is no water, and cannot hear the water motor.

ok, you've probably read one of my posts before and are thinking "this fool has no water in the tank" hahaa and i would think the same thing, but I have filled it right up and yes, its gone in the right place i think

has anyone got any cool ideas? anything i can check? test? poke? or tickle?

thank you in advance,

Hatters

First guess would have been no water in, but considering that you can't hear the motor it would suggest that a fuse has blown.

Can't help wioth which one... Sorry.
Check the manual.

Thank you fletch,

Yeh water was my first guess but that is all full up

I also checked the headlamp washers are working ok as they use the same water supply, and they work just fine.

I checked the fuses at the wkend and all seems to be in order, I used the manual and everything shocking behaviour! not something i make a habit of

Its starting to look like a call into Honda is on the cards! is a shame, i sold my alfa due to little problems like this! win some loose some i guess.

A friend of mine had to pull his Alfa over on the M1 this morning coz his windscreen wipers stopped working. (In a rainstorm) They've been working "when they want to" for some time. Apparently, if he re-boots his car then it's generally alright again. (for a bit)... Alfas aren't fitted with "Microsoft" Windows are they? Could explain it... ( Wouldn't happen if they used UNIX. )

Alfas are known for "little" electrical problems. Honda, afaik, arn't.
I've not heard of anyone else (in the UK) with this problem.
Let us know what Honda find.
It'll be good to know.

Good Luck.
