It depends on the type of miles that have been put on.
I can put on 200 miles at a track day and do FAR more damage then 20,000 highway miles. I know that isn't what you want to hear, so I will try to say something that you will like......... as you said, 60,000 sounds like a good cut off point. If it were me though, I would look for the low 20's knowing I was going to have to pay more.

thancks go lol but see i don't have the money to spend that much on a car with that low of millage, and i understand what your saying when u mean the way you put the miles on the car. this one car that im looking at the owner said it was a weekend car and i dought it was ever put on the track it has like 63k for like 12 grand. Im really wanting a s2000 asap and it sounds pretty sweet to me if it lasts me at least 4 years then itll be worth it.

Ask for some records regarding maintenance. That would be my next suggestion.

63 K sounds high for a weekend car, unless it is a MY '00.
also be aware that the maintenance is very high on our cars. it's not cheap to own an s2000. i know you don't want to hear it, but i guarantee that you won't get what you paid for it or what you owe on it if you sell it because you can't afford it. all that said. 60K is a good cut off. i would really recommend staying below 50K |
