01 S2000

Hi guys, new here.... thinking of buying an 01 S2000 from my friend's dealership, is $17k a good deal? 70k with no accident. Previous owner replaced the factory roof with glass window instead of OEM plastic. Minimal mod, only been lowered with Buddyclub adjustables.

For an '01 with that many miles (not that it's a lot by any means because it IS a honda) I would say that is NOT a good deal. You should have a LOT of negotiation room there...

My '01 with 49k in great shape with new top for $15,000. I'll tell you, cash in the hand talks. (I guess that's what home equity lines are for)

Definitely not a good deal.
That car in very good condition
should be $13 - $14K.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

Thanks guys... but are we talking about Canadian car though? The one I'm looking at is a original CDN car, not a US import.
70k miles should be around 40k+ KMs, and unfortunately we have to pay more for the same car here....

I paid 18,900 for my 07 with 15000 miles no damage only thing I had to do was replace rear tires.
