I think i said I found one in Plano, Tx for 15K.. I e-mail the lady but she hasn't e-mail me back yet. Keeping my finger crossed. Looks to be in great condition not visable blemishes or any thing like that. Engine bay is a little dirty but i dont expect 99% of the U.S. to pay attention to that area when they clean thier cars. I do but thats just me. It takes me about two days to do a really good clean on my cars.

I spend a lot of time cleaning under the hood of my S2000. I try to clean as best I can every time I wash my car.

well, the lady called and said that the pics where taken two weeks agao and last week they had a hail storm come through so there is now hail damage on the hood.

So thats a no. Oh well I will continue my search else where.

She could of had a sale if she would have put it indoors or under a protective cover. I think it had only 35K on it. Ever get a car off of EBay? My brother-in-law has had pretty good success but i still dont know if i would trust it.

My friend bought a car off of Ebay. He had pretty good luck with it. I've never used Ebay for anything bigger than a DVD so I'm no help there.

Too bad about that other S2K, that would have been a pretty good deal.

I know! After I got the voice mail i was pissed and bumbed. I was was going to drive down there and get and be back to enjoy the weekend on HY24 (lots of twisties) all the way to Brekenridge and back (now it looks like it is going to snow any way). So now I have to work on the Norton which I needed to do all winter and am now finaly getting to it. I will look on EBay then I will even go eny where to get the best deal on an '03.

Would have been cool to have the car for the weekend. You win some you loose some. Not sure if I asked but are you going to stick with an AP1 or is an AP2 something you would consider? Some of the early AP2's are starting to come down in price, there is one for sale locally for low $20K with 27K on the clock, its an '04.

If youre still looking for an s2k, try searching autotrader.com in Omaha, Nebraska. I usually see 1 or 2 for sale here each month. It'd be alot closer here than Texas for convienience.

I would love to go but I can't make it I have to help my In-laws move and then hang out with my Little Brother (I am part of the Big Brother Org.) Plus I might be out of place in either a TL or on a Bike!

We've had all kinds of cars go with us on drives, you wouldn't be out of place. We've had a TL, 350Z, GTO, F150 Lightning, STi, Solstice, Vette, and an NSX with us on previous drives.

Yeah I just started and that Sunday (30th) will be the first time we get to hang out. There are tuns of boys that need a positive role model but not enough men willing to go and put them selfs in that role. So any guys reading this thread get out there and join your local Big Brother Org or at least look in to it! You have more time for them then you think! Take them to the track, show them how to properly maintain a car, or do house/yardwork with them. Don't worry about money infact Big Brother tells you not to spend money on them or if you go somewhere that requires money they have to pay their own way. They also give you a booklet about local activities that are free or low cost that you can do with your "Little". I don't mean to preach but I just fell sorry for the kids that don't have some one in there life.

ON a side note I might have to hold of till the winter to get an S2K due to I just got accepted in the the EE program at UCCS so tuition needs to be paid... then a car!

No. But its only about 10 miles from me. I could run up their and take some better pictures for you if you would like. I could also give you my opinion.

Have you been to the Denver Auto Show yet? It looks pretty good I normaly wait for the one down here but i know for a fact that it is twice as big up there. I think i might pop up there on saturday and see if they have the S2k C, or maybe just gett a look at thoes Lambo's and Austin Martins.

I haven't been to the car show yet. Planning on going on Friday night. I go to the car show every year. I love sitting in all the new cars. I'm also going with the S2KCA group on Sunday, we are all going together after the drive.
