I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

$14,400 and it's a deal.....

I had a hard time with the yellow on my S2000 at first.
Then I realized that for the type of driving that I do, and considering the terrain, .....The Brighter The Better.

It doesn't matter once I'm in the seat, and I ain't much for scrubbing the outside of it anyway.

Ya it seems to be clean but id see if u couldn't get em to come down a bit on it cause if not spend a couple more grand get a newer car with fewer miles. But on the up side by looking at an s2000 you have already made a good choice so i have confidence in your decision making.

I think I'd invest a few bucks and get it checked. Obviously belonged to a younger person, not that that's a bad thing. It's been nicely detailed, but I prefer to see a car in it's natural state. I have to wonder about carbon fiber in unusual places.

Just an elder observation

It's easy fer me'da talk, okay? I've already got mine. I know.
But, man, Dave . . . you sure pick the worst time'a the year ta buy a raggtopp.
I don't think that dealin'z impossible, budd'itt'd be a whole lot more in your favor if you could find a way'da hold off until everybody'z anxious ta be rid'a their "summer" rides.
('Sorry Dave. As unlikely'z'att izz, mention'uv'itt was required by law.)
For some reason the flicks ain't comin' up for me, but from whut'z bein' posted, it soundz like it'z been "tinkered" with.
Even if it wuz stone stock I'd recommend grttin' it checked like most everybody'z recommendin' . . . . if it'z been "modded", yuh godda gedd'itt checked out.

Those rims look like curb-biters. You'll have to get those springy curb feeler things they put on low-riders or sell the rims. I'd chose option #2. Nice lookin' ride, though.

Rims make it look gangsta' ha ha.
No really though those have to go.

Other than that like everyone else said get it checked and then make your decision, probably the best advise that can be given in this situation.

GL on finding your S!

I copy the overall advice already given .. Get it checked out..
also use Carfax and Autocheck it.. small price to pay for peace of mind and possible bartering ammo on that price - check the NADA value.

Neuspeed sticker - either he had the suspension done underneath or the front top bar was the only thing he could afford after the wheels and colormatching the intake pipe and valve cover. - another reason to get it checked thoroughly -especially for leaking around the master and slave clutch cylinders..

Looks nice though, even with the overdoes of carbon fiber, but then I am a bit of a purist and l like Spa Yellow
