Prop shaft is stuck

I'm taking off my transmission, all the bolts are out shifters out, driveshafts off. The trans slid about an inch off of the bell housing but now won't budge. it spins freely and has plenty of room to come off it's just bunged up on something. Has anyone had issues with the shaft getting stuck in the bearing or am I missing something?

Crow bar and a big hammer should do the trick.

Seriously, I don't know. Happened on my VW Bug once and I realized that I forgot to disconnect the clutch cable. Not an issue on the S though.

I've got plenty of clearance all around the trans. It should just slide off but something is in a bind. I can rock it all the way around and even spin it on the shaft a bit.
