It looks expensive. I'll stick with boost.

why is that so exspensive????????? When i got custom forged pistons made for my car they were only 600. Custom rods are 600-900. Does that meen that crank is a 7 thousand dollar crank? I have no idea who in their right mind would buy that kit. You can have the stuff custom made to whatever specs you want for under half the price.

alot of people like the S2000 as an NA roaster they get that stuff for look.
One of the reasons Honda built the S2000 was to build a high output small displacement sports car without cutting corners (supercharger, turbo charger..) thats its appeal of this car (its like mighty mouse) the craftsmanship and technology makes this car special

well I am not exactly sure who taught you that forced induction was cutting corners. I assume some 65 year old chevy guy but I dont know why you took his advice in the first place since he is a 65 year old chevy guy he wont like your import 4 cyl right off the bat. My problem is not with the stroker kit my problem is with the stroker kit being way way way way over priced when for thousands less you could get more hp outa a supercharger. I dont even think it needs to turn into a na vs forced induction battle either just look at the price tag its alot more then the average stroker kit. Better come with a machine shop to bore the block a mechanice to install it and a pro racer to driver the car for 8 thousand dollars. Id also like to point that when you put a stroker kit in the s2000 the craftmanship that honda put onto this car is now laying in a box somewhere cause your aftermarket stroker kit is replacing it. |

WOW so putting on a supercharger or a turbo is not an easy way to get HP gains? and I agree with it being over priced this was just something I came across that looked interesting I'm not one for modifing my S2000 I happen to enjoy every part of this car as is. But when I come across things for the S2000 I like to share with fellow owners

I dont recall saying you shouldnt post things that interest you. Maybe its the language barrier you know me being from Pennsylvania and all. I also dont recall saying that using forced induction was not a easy way to gain hp. I think I was stressing that forced induction is a much more cost effective route. In other words more HP per dollar. Plus im not exactly sure what your definition of easy is. Either way I dont associate the word easy with the phrase cutting corners. If making a quick reliable nice car should have no "easy" parts then I think I am going to start Building parts from scratch like I do with my other car.
