exhaust gains

Looking for the right exhaust...I would love to hear from you all on your experiences if any on hp gains. I not expecting much .....but would like some gain on investment. I also like a deep sounding exhaust. I heard the supersprint and thought that was right on. Cant find a source on where to buy it though.

Thanks

I would like to say sorry to every buddy once again I am just going through old threads to find out info before i ask stupid questions that have already been answered so that is why I keep diggin up old threads.
I have heard that the most you could really gain from an exhaust is any where from 5 to 10 hp now i dont know if that is true or not but that did come from a full time Honda Technician. I have been wondering about this question much myself latly seeing how i have never really owned a car that i wanted to go out and modify. My 93 Perlude Si had the exhuast on it already when i bought it. I dont know what brand it was, but my girlfrend at the time said she could hear me when i got off the A4 and that was still two miles from her flat! So again what gains do you get from a full I/H/E? What about adding a bigger throttle body along with the CAI?

No matter what you get, you won't get much.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

I have heard of people gaining 15-25 whp from tuning alone on the stock engine(using AEM EMS) Had I heard about this before I would have saved my money to buy that first instead of other mods. I have never heard of more than a15hp gain from I/H/E. I know it can benefit you more in the future by having these when and if you get engine management. I guess the question is which one first?

I rode with a guy from S2KI new england chapter. He had a fujitsuba exaust on an AP2. Sounded great and he dynoed before and after and swore he got about 20 or maybe it was 15 extra horses. I think he has CIE as well but not sure. Also another guy had comptech exaust and it looked better (to me) and sounded about the same. Neither were loud but sounded tastefully deep. Kind of like a sports car!
Lazy Professor. Ask him.
