Hello - ::new guy here::
I just bought my 1st Honda S2000, a 2003 model, bought certified from local Honda dealer. The previous owner added: F5 Fujita Competition Air intake DC Sports Ceramic headers HKS Hi Power dual exaust He added other goodies, but my question is, Roughly -What do you think my Horsepower is with those modifications? Thanks |

The DC header has shown to actually reduce HP on the S. 243 may be correct, but remember, that's at the crank. You are probably putting down between 195- 200 at the wheels. Take it to a dyno and find out.

I would say your north of 200, roughly 205-210 to the wheels. Definitely change the header though. Only way to find out your numbers is to take it to the dyno.

Welcome aboard Guard. Best of luck with your new ride.
As for the power increase of your replaced parts: Not enough to spend alodda time thinkin' about it. Stewie's pretty tweaked from the factory. I think the consensus is that, other than forced induction, you're not going to add more than 10, maybe 12 horse with bolt-ons. N' in a car that's weighin' in at, what . . . 2800 r' so?, it's gonna take one helluva sensitive pilot to be able to detect that little bit of difference. N' thinkin' that you feel the difference don't count. Be well. Java

Thanks for the info and welcomes.
I was just curious. Being new at this, I had no idea. I most likely wouldn't have added anything if I'd bought it new. Matter of fact, I was thinking of taking the exaust off and going with something quieter. But before messing with it, I wanted to see just what the previous owner did and why. |

I doubt you're anywhere over the stock hp output.
