I use to think N/A was the only way for reliability. But I'm starting to come around to forced induction. Even aftermarket F/I has been getting better with reliability. One of my friends daily drives a supercharged S2000, and has had basically no problems. As long as the car is maintained, I don't think anything should have any reliability problems.

Allmotor is the way togo. I love the way a N/A motor sounds peeking at 9,000 up to 12,000rpm. like i say hondas should stay allmotor. plus you can build a N/A S2000 to beat up on turbo cars going down hill at the mountain roads

In this order:
NA SC Turbo- depending on boost level. I would like to know the amount of money spend to get 291 whp out of a NA motor.

If I remember correctly, they spent close to $20,000 to get 291 out of the S2000 motor N/A. But it did reline quite a bit higher (can't remember how high).

its ture you will spend quite a bit more for a N/A set up, but you will have instant power and no turbo/s.c. lag. and the reliability is much better on a N/A motor. and i've seen quite a few N/A S2000 in the 320whp range

If I can save $15,000, I will deal with a little (and I do know from experience that it is a very little ) lag. $20,000 for 90 WHP is WAY to rich for my blood.

Alodda talk about redline. Redline's more braggin' rights'n anything else. Bench-racin' fodder.
It's the power what gets 'er done. N' I'm with Go, 15 thou's a wee bit too rich for my blood. From what I've read there're way more cost effective ways to get 90 r' so RWH, if that's your goal. I'm a naturally aspirated fan, but if I flat-out hadda have that kind'a power increase I'd opt for forced induction. Be well. Java

i think it gets to a point where you have to spend so much money to get reliable N/A power, that it's not worth it.
Example, someone said ASM spent $20,000 to get a 291hp N/A S2000. For $5000, you can have a nice turbo setup. For another $5k, you could build the engine so that it won't pop. So, you've spent half as much money and have easily twice as much power and just as much reliability.

I would prefer N/A...because I like the idea of having a 300HP N/A small engine without usage of forced induction....not like evo's and impreza's...they're like cheaters using forced induction

The way I've always seen it, power is power. I don't care how I make it, as long as i can make it reliably and in a usable powerband.
