Ei guys, thanks for your opinions the last time I ask how to have 250 lb-ft torque in a F22C1, I really appreciate it, but for now, I don't want to add force inductions co'z I wanted to enjoy the 50-50 weight distribution of the s2k (coz I think force inductions will add more weight at the front...well its parts and especially the intercooler), but Im not saying that I'm against force inductions...well here is the point....Im looking to get my s2k (F22C1) to have max output to about between 220 - 240 lb-ft (or as possible... again...250 lb-ft) and max horsepower to about between 300 - 330 hp just by NA tuning it (I mean ECU's are included). Does anyone know how? any opinions/help will be very appreciated!!!

This has been a topic of discussion before. There is no way to get the S2000 engine to produce 250ft-lbs of torque without forced induction. Even very few well built S2000 engines can produce 280 hp, and about 175 ft-lbs of torque. And that took a ton of money to do. Its just easier to go the forced induction route and get it over with.

Again, it is impossible to get that high naturally aspirated.

300 Hp
I agree. There is just no way to get numbers that high w/out forced induction.
Or at least without spending double what a forced induction set up would cost. What is the issue with forced induction anyway? If you ask anyone with either a turbo or s.c., it does not affect handling with the extra weight. Besides, why do you think it is so common nowadays from the manufactorers. It is usually the least expensive way to gain HP w/out going up to a V-8 or V-6. Less weight as well. Good luck. |
